The Proteus PS600 series sensors produce a pulsed voltage that varies with the galden flow meter using the turbine concept. A voltage is generated in a Hall-Effect sensor when the flow turns a rotor with magnets in the opposing spokes. The user supplies the output voltage, a square wave ranging from 5 to 24 VDC. This reasonably priced, the durable sensor can create a range of frequencies that your electronics can read to determine the flow rate.
